Does the electric "smokeless" cigarette work?

Has anyone tried it? – I am going to purchase the package today. Can't live with this 'stank' of smoking anymore, and I believe in the power of tricking the mind in smoking. Any thoughts?

My fiance has one and it's been sitting on the table beside our bed with a low battery for over a month.

I won't say it won't work but it was a huge waste of money for us. We both still smoke.
